Peyton Manning leads Football Hall of Fame finalists

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Former Tennessee quarterback and Vol For Life Peyton Manning leads a list of finalists looking to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The announcement was made January 5.

According to ESPN, Manning is one of the most decorated players in NFL history. He has five league MVP awards, 14 Pro Bowl selections and a Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award along with a host of other honors.

Joining Manning on the finalist’s list is Charles Woodson, Calvin Johnson Jared Allen.
