KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Vols’ Linebacker Aaron Beasley has been issued an animal cruelty citation Tuesday.

Beasley was booked for animal cruelty on Monday, April 19. A preliminary hearing is set for June 24 at 9 a.m.

According to the Knoxville Police Department, Beasley has been issued an animal cruelty citation, a class A misdemeanor by Animal Control personnel.

Beasley has been suspended from all team activities by the University of Tennessee amid the animal abuse allegation.
