‘Fat Tuesday’ restaurant coming to Knoxville
The restaurant is now looking for staff to hire before its opening

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - New Orleans-based restaurant, Fat Tuesday, announced it will finish construction in downtown Knoxville in April.
The restaurant said in a release, it will open in May 2021 in the Historic Kress Building. The location is looking for a manager to help with the opening of the restaurant and to help recruit and hire more staff.
“The ideal managerial candidate will have experience launching a new concept and a minimum of three years experience managing in a restaurant or bar setting,” restaurant owners said in a release. “The FAT TUESDAY Knoxville manager will interact with customers to develop loyalty and handle customer concerns, will receive competitive pay and be eligible for performance-based bonuses.”
