KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Chef John Alunni with the Cutting Edge Classroom Cooking School is offering a summer cooking camp for kids.

Alunni said his cooking school offers 12 different camps. He says it’s the ultimate learning experience for your child and a perfect place to learn cooking skills while stirring up creativity. He said kids work with professional chefs who are great with kids and skilled in all aspects of culinary techniques.

Your child will learn all the skills needed to create fresh, delicious, and attractively prepared foods while having fun in a hands-on learning environment.

The camp covers all the cooking methods that chefs use on poultry, meats, seafood, vegetables, and starches including deep frying, sauteing, grilling, roasting, simmering, steaming, and poaching.

The class dates are June 7-11 at The Cutting Edge Classroom Cooking School located at 817 Herron Road in Knoxville. The cost is $349 per child. Click here to register.
