KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -While the pandemic may have suspended public screenings, the show must go on!

The Knox County Public Library’s Tennessee Archive of Moving Image and Sound is back with a virtual screening of their newest content. They’ve even got a Dolly Parton interview that hasn’t been seen in 50 years!

TAMIS has over 5,000 reels and movies dating back to over a century ago, all of events and day-to-day life right here in East Tennessee. TAMIS uses the latest technology to preserve old film, and digitize it, so it can be seen and enjoyed for years to come.

The free virtual screening is on Wednesday, April 14 at 7 p.m. To register and to learn more, click here.
