3 people hospitalized following multi-vehicle crash in North Knox Co.

Officials said this is the second crash in less than four hours in North Knox County.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Rural Metro responded to a multi-vehicle crash in North Knox County Thursday afternoon.

Officials said this is the second crash in less than four hours in North Knox County.

According to Rural Metro, the crash happened on East Emory Road at Cedarcrest. Three people were injured and transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

“BE CAREFUL out there on the roadways! Stay off your phones and wear your seatbelts. Slow down and arrive alive,” Rural Metro officials said.

This afternoon at approximately noon, Rural Metro Fire, Knox County Rescue and AMR, responded to a 2 vehicle car crash...
