Hallerin Hill Moves “Anything Is Possible” to WVLT and sister stations
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - After more than a decade, and more than hundreds of interviews with contemporary civic, business and political history makers, Hallerin Hill is moving his award-winning tv show “Anything Is Possible” to WVLT Channel 8 and sister stations MyVLT and WBXX, effective May 9.
“I am excited to be able to continue probing the minds and hearts of the men and women who make this region tick,” Hill said about the move. “We had a good run on Channel 10. Working with Channel 8 and its partner stations, we look forward to more great interviews with the famous and not so famous who make a positive difference every day in our community, our businesses and our government.”
“Anything Is Possible” will move to the Sunday morning 8:30 a.m. spot just before “CBS SundayMorning” on WVLT, 9:30 a.m. on MyVLT and 11 a.m. on WBXX. It also will be available on YouTube, FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram and via podcast. Hill also will continue to host his record-breaking morning talk show on WOKI News Talk 98.7.
Hill recently was named to the Tennessee Broadcasters Hall of Fame and will be inducted in July. He repeatedly has been voted “Best Talk Show Host” locally by his loyal listeners and has been named one of America’s top talk show hosts by “Talker’s Magazine.” He has appeared in national TV commercials and served as narrator/host for several documentaries.
Hill also is an accomplished songwriter/singer/producer, who has worked with many renowned artists, including Aretha Franklin and the late Whitney Houston. He co-wrote “Who Would Imagine a King,” recorded by Houston for the award-winning movie, “The Preacher’s Wife.” He also is the author of a best-selling self-help book, “The Seven Pillars of Wisdom.”
“We are thrilled that Hallerin will be joining our team,” said Jasmine Hardin, WVLT’s general manager. “Hallerin has distinquished himself as a smart, sensitive and incisive interviewer on radio and TV in Knoxville for almost 30 years. In addition to ‘Anything Is Possible’, we look forward to expanding Hallerin’s talent and exposure to other special events produced by our news department.”
