KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - He’s back! Inspirational team leader john Fulkerson announced via twitter on Friday that he’s not done being a Volunteer. Injured against Florida at the SEC Tournament, Fulky has some unfinished business to take care of at UT.

Fulkerson will be part of a front court for Rick Barnes that has received a big boost in recent days with the addition of 5-Star forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and 7-foot center Jonas Aidoo!

Fulky said it was a sign from God that made the decision for him.

“Before the season, I did not plan on coming back unless God showed me a sign to come back, and honestly He did when I got injured,” Fulkerson said on SEC Network’s The Paul Finebaum Show. “I wasn’t able to remember my last game as a Volunteer and how much I cherish putting on that jersey, not being able to help and support my teammates during the SEC Tournament or the NCAA Tournament. I just think that was a huge sign that I have unfinished business here. We still have work to be done.”

Fulkerson suffered a season ending injury during Tennessee’s game against the Florida Gators during last season’s SEC Tournament.

Welcome back Fulky! Cant’s wait for next season!
