Shots fired at Pigeon Forge Pilot parking lot, police ask for videos

PFPD investigators are reviewing videos of the incident and is asking the public to provide any other videos of the incident to help identify the shooter.

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Pigeon Forge Police Department is searching for a shooting suspect after shots were fired in the parking lot of a Pilot convenience store Friday night.

Pigeon Forge Police Chief Richard Catlett told WVLT News groups of individuals were hanging out in the convenience store parking lot after the annual Spring Rod Run event, when they became agitated with one another and a fight broke out. In the middle of the fight, shots were fired.

Catlett said the department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect after several videos have surfaced on the internet showing the incident.

PFPD investigators are reviewing videos of the incident and asking the public to provide any other videos of the incident to help identify the shooter.

A spokesperson for Pilot Flying J told WVLT News the company is aware of the incident and is working with local law enforcement during the ongoing investigation.

There were no injuries reported during the incident.
