Tenn. man arrested for intentionally setting apartment on fire

A Tennessee man has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Arson after intentionally setting an apartment on fire, according to the TBI.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -A Tennessee man has been arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Arson after accused of intentionally setting an apartment on fire.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, on Nov. 10, 2019, TBI agents joined the Greenville Police Department and the Greenville Fire Department in investigating an apartment fire on the 200 block of West Sevier Heights.

Authorities discovered the fire had been intentionally set by Brian Wesley Manuel, a resident of the building.

On Monday, May 3, the Greene County Grand Jury charged Manuel with two counts of Aggravated Arson. Manuel was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
