Firefighters battle Farragut house fire
Dispatchers said that crews were called to the West Knox County home just before 6:30 A.M.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Rural Metro Fire crews were called to a house fire in Farragut Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers said crews were called to the West Knox County home just before 6:30 a.m.
When crews arrived on the scene they found heavy fire from the front of the house and spread rapidly. All occupants and pets self-evacuated before fire crews arrived.
Residents said they heard noises in the garage and thought someone was breaking in. When they went to check out the noise they discovered a fire in the garage.
Fire officials said the home suffered major damage. The fire is under investigation.
