Juvenile seriously injured in Loudon County shooting, suspect in custody
The victim was treated by Priority EMS Medics on the scene and then transported via UT LifeStar to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he underwent surgery for multiple gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
LOUDON, Tenn. (WVLT) - One person was injured and one person was taken into custody after a shooting on Clear Branch Road in Loudon County, a sheriff’s office spokesperson confirmed to WVLT News.
According to LCSO, one juvenile was “seriously injured” and another juvenile suspect was taken into custody after the shooting.
“At approximately 4:10 pm EST today, a 911 call came into the Loudon County E-911 Center reporting that a 17 year old male had been shot numerous times. Deputies and Detectives responded and immediately gave aid to the injured male juvenile.”, said Chief Deputy Jimmy Davis. “Shortly after our arrival on scene, another male juvenile, 15 years of age, was identified as the shooting suspect and was taken into custody without incident.”

Authorities said all involved parties were accounted for and that there was no immediate threat to the general public.
Both of the juveniles names are being withheld due to their ages.
