As a native East Tennessean I welcome every moment I can come into your living room telling stories of our world as well as right here at home. I have been in broadcasting since 1979 coming off a stint in the NFL after being drafted by the New York Jets. I previously played college ball at the University of Florida. I got my start in broadcasting as Assistant Sports Director at WBIR-TV, moving on to WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama, then back to Knoxville as Sports Director of WATE-TV.
In the late 80's I moved over to radio as Sports Director of WIVK , the flagship station of the University of Tennessee. I was doing triple duty as co-host of "Dance Line", on The Nashville Network as well as anchoring Noonday on then WKXT.
Now in my 41st year of broadcasting, I am proud to continue to bring you stories that influence your life in a positive way. Thanks again for inviting me into your home it is a true pleasure.
