Evan Lasek has been working at WVLT since August of 2023. He graduated from Penn State University in August of 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism, as well as a Certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
He is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and although he is from the Steel City, he is a huge Eagles fan.
Evan has played sports all of his life and has always dreamed of being in the sports industry to continue his love for athletics.
Before coming to Knoxville, Evan worked at WTAP in Parkersburg, WV as a sports anchor for two years.
Evan has always loved storytelling and loves having conversations with anybody he comes in contact with and is excited to tell the stories of everybody around Knoxville!
