Wade is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He started his news career in Atlanta, GA in 2011. Before coming to WAFF 48, he spent over six years reporting news in Birmingham.
Wade was born just a short drive down I-65 in Cullman and he currently resides there again today.
When Wade is not in the newsroom, he is spending time with his wife Megan, son Moses, and their dog Dexter. Wade and Megan enjoy concerts, weekend vacations, visiting area parks and spending time catching up on TV shows on the couch.
Additionally, Wade is a member of Cullman First United Methodist Church, the Cullman Lions Club and is the Voice of the Cullman Bearcat Football Team.

An Alabama man was arrested after an altercation at a baseball field Thursday evening involving at least two Little League umpires.

The pair were apprehended on May 9 in Evansville, Indiana

Former corrections officer Vicky White and inmate Casey White were on the run for 11 days.
Over 100 investigators are involved in the search for Vicky White and Casey White, according to WAFF. Border Patrol has been on alert since April 29.
Investigators said there is no doubt that Vicky White aided and abetted Casey White with his escape.
The two are considered armed and dangerous and may be armed with an AR-15 rifle and a shotgun. Authorities say not to approach them if you see them.
