Harry Sullivan is an Emmy Award winning journalist who co-anchors WVLT News This Morning weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Harry graduated from Texas Tech University, where he worked as a Production Assistant for football and basketball games on ESPN & FOX Sports. Harry also handled numerous play-by-play duties on the student radio station KTXT-FM. Prior to his time at Texas Tech, Harry attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. Harry was a punter for the Crusaders for one year before he decided that he was better at watching football than he was at playing it.
He interned at FOX 34 News in Lubbock with the sports department before accepting his first job as a Weekend Sports Anchor at KGNS News in Laredo, TX. He spent 10 months covering high school and collegiate sports in South Texas before moving over to news, where he became the weekday morning anchor, and eventually the evening anchor. While in Laredo, Harry reported live from President Donald Trump's visit to McAllen, TX, and he was involved in numerous stories with the Border Patrol and other law enforcement agencies.
In his free time you'll find Harry on the golf course rocking his scarlet and black, ready to root on the Red Raiders. He's glad that Tennessee and Texas Tech rarely cross paths in athletics, and he's happy to adopt the Vols as his SEC team.
