Knoxville police, other agencies join forces with MADD group

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knoxville chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving held its 11th Annual Walk Like MADD event at the Knoxville Zoo Saturday.

The fundraiser helps raise money for the group is a non-profit that seeks to end impaired driving and help support those effected by drunk driving.

This year, participants raised nearly $10,000.

The Knoxville Police Department, The Knox County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol Unit were all there to support.
