Throughout the week, the kids learned all about what it takes to be a part of the law enforcement team, while bonding with the officers through outdoor activities.

"We got to go tubing, and shooting and watch things explode," said camper Kelsey Holt. She says her biggest take away from the experience is to stay drug free.

The officers got a chance to bond with kids in a fun environment.

”They don’t get to see a lot of us with the good times, the only time they get to see us is when we’re interacting with them when there’s some kind of bad consequences that’s happened or anything else. This camp that we do here, they actually get to see all of us and they get to not only see us as police officers, but humans.", said officer Phillip Davis.
