(WVLT) -- The folks at gobankingrates took at look at rising college tuition costs recently. The study found a roughly 5% annual tuition increase at public and private universities across the country was quite common.
Given that amount, in 20 years, the cost of public and private university tuition could easily surpass $100K a year.
One example listed was Alabama, where public in-state tuition could cost almost $77,000 a year. While a private university education in Alabama could amount to almost $190,000 a year.
