1. THP responds to SUV, train collision; man critically injured

A Clinton man is in critical condition after his car collided with a train in Anderson County.

Tennessee Highway Patrol officers on the scene said it happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Old Lake City Highway and Patterson Lane.

2.KPD: Roommate fatally stabbed man found in Sevier Avenue home

The Knoxville Police Department has charged a man with stabbing a man found dead Friday at a home on Sevier Avenue.

KPD said first responders arrived at a home in the 2300 block of Sevier Avenue at 3:48 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of a deceased person.

3.Ten fire agencies work together to tame 25-acre blaze in Seymour

Seymour Volunteer Fire Department Chief Johnson Bigler blamed high winds for a brush fire that quickly grew up to about 25 acres near Hansard Drive in Seymour.

His team got the call around 10:45 a.m. Saturday. The homeowner said he was burning some brush when the fire picked up.

4. KPD seeks information after motorcyclist killed in head-on crash

Knoxville Police are seeking information after a crash left one motorcyclist dead Saturday morning.

It happened at 11:23 a.m. in the 6300 block of Chapman Highway, near Wheels Auto Sales.

5. FBI, Knoxville police searching for suspect in armed credit union robbery

The Knoxville Division of the FBI and the Knoxville Police Department announced they were seeking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Friday afternoon.

At around 2:05 p.m. on Friday, law enforcement agencies responded to the credit union robbery at the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Kingston Pike in Knoxville.
