Roller coaster winter temps continue

KNOXVILLE, Ten. (WVLT) The warmest air in more than one week is here, but roller coaster temperatures are not far off. We stay in the 60s six of the next eight days.

Sunday will be mild. After a thin gauze of high clouds, we end up with sunshine and temps in the low-to-mid 60s.

There are lots of fun things to do this weekend: the PBR bull riders continue to put on a show at the home of the Vols, the TBA.
Meanwhile just blocks away, the Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show draws a huge crowd at the Knoxville Convention Center. There are free options, too, including the busy trials at Ijams park.

While there will be a few showers south of our region, all except the far southern edge near Athens will stay dry.

So what about next week? You've been hearing all about the rain. The good news is that it's largely confined to later Wednesday through Friday.
