CNN (WVLT) -- A New York city mom is being told she has to pay a fine for pulling over to tend to her newborn. While stuck in a traffic jam recently, Guillermina Rodriguez heard her three week old start to cry from the backseat.
She says she pulled her car into a "commercial zone", a loading and unloading area, and started breastfeed newborn. But a tow truck quickly arrived and so did the police. The mom explained what she just had to do, so there was no tow, but the officer did issue her a $115 ticket for being illegally parked.
Mom now plans to fight the ticket in court.
