American Flag violates ordinances but won't be removed

(CBS/CNN) -- Camping World's CEO Marcus Lemonis says the controversy over his overly large American Flag at the Camping World dealership in North Carolina isn't going to be removed anytime soon.

The city of Statesville has filed a lawsuit against Lemonis and Camping World to force the franchise to remove its 3,200 square foot American Flag from its property which is always prominently displayed.

City leaders say, the largest size flag permitted is 1,000 square feet.
Camping World contends they fly the same sized flag over 180 cities nationwide and they're not about to make an exception to company policy. So far, the North Carolina location has racked up fines of over $10,000 by flying the flag against the city's wishes.
