Two face drug charges after raid in Blount County

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Blount County Sheriff's Office said two people were following the execution of a search warrant on August 26.

The sheriff's office said their Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Tarbet Road on Monday evening looking for narcotics.

Ronald Tarbett was charged with delivery of a schedule II controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.

Angela Clampet was charged with delivery of a schedule II controlled substance in a drug free zone and failure to appear on a prior driving charge.

Tarbett is being held in the Blount County Correctional Facility on bonds totaling $280,000 pending a court hearing in September.

Clampet is being held in the Blount County Correctional Facility on bonds totaling $86,000.

Investigators said they found two ounces of methamphetamine, two grams of heroin and $1,000 in cash during the execution of the warrant.
