FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WVLT/WKRG) -- An 7-year-old boy Florida boy was sexually assaulted by other students while at school in 2016, a lawyer said
CBS affilaite WKRG reported that an attorney who claims to represent the child plans to file a lawsuit alleging that the boy was sexually assaulted while at Shalimar Elementary School.
The attorney, Aaron Watson, said the boy was coerced into performing sexual acts on two other students in the school bathroom. The lawsuit alleges the Okaloosa County School Board was negligent in supervising the first grade students.
Watson said, "specifically, the complainant alleges that a seven-year-old male student was the subject of sexual bullying in which he was coerced into a school restroom and forced to engage in sexual acts, with two other students, including sexual intercourse," in a press release.
The press release said that incident occurred inside a bathroom located inside the classroom. The teacher was allegedly in the classroom.
