BCSO: House fire injured two, cause under investigation

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Blount County Sheriff's Office reported that crews responded to reports of a fire on Friday afternoon.

According to a post from the sheriff's office, crews with the Blount County Fire Department and sheriff's office were working an active house fire in the 3400 block of Williams Mill Road.

The sheriff's office announced that two people, a man and woman, were injured in the fire. They had escaped through a window.

The man and woman were transported to UT Medical Center for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
