Blood found on shovel tests negative for missing 5-year-old

DICKSON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Test results show blood found on a shovel at the home Daniels' Dickson home did not belong to missing 5-year-old, Joe Clyde Daniels.

According to a report from News Channel 5, DNA testing revealed the blood belonged to Joseph Daniels, who is charged with murder in the case.

A week earlier investigators tested blood found on Joseph's pants but found that was also his own blood.

The body of Joe Clyde has never been found since he went missing in April 2018. His parents, Joseph and Krystal Daniels are set to stand trial in 2020.
