Briles expected to meet with Pruitt for OC job

Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Head coach Jeremy Pruitt has been busy on a couple different fronts.
The Tennessee head coach is out on the road recruiting, he's also
been looking for a new offensive coordinator.

Our partners at Volquest.com tell us Pruitt will interview Kendal Briles on Friday. Briles is the offensive coordinator at Houston and considered to be a creative and bright young play caller. In his corner is former UT head coach Lane Kiffin who apparently has endorsed Briles to coach Pruitt.

Now, while not etched in stone, Pruitt is also expected to interview Alabama quarterbacks coach Dan Enos.

Also said to be in the mix at this point is Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurich. We'll keep you posted at WVLT Sports.
