KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Mayor Rogero has declared the first week in June to be “Knoxville CPR Awareness Week”, and Prime Medical Training will be hosting the 2nd annual “CPR Awareness Day” event in Market Square, on Saturday, June 4th.
This event is open to the public and will teach the Knoxville community how to perform CPR. There will be live music.
In an attempt to prevent the need for CPR in the first place, there will also be fun, heart-healthy activities for the entire family. Last year over 300 people attended the event and $5000 was raised.
