(WVLT) -- The Great Smoky Mountains Association announced that the Cades Cove Visitor Center would reopen on Friday, Jan. 11.
The center is located halfway around Loop Road near Townsend.
The association provides staffing for the visitor center.
According to a Facebook post, with the Cades Cove center reopening, staffers will be able to assist visitors at four of six locations that they normally do.
The park's primary visitor centers at Sugarlands and Oconaluftee are still closed. For more details go here.
