Chattanooga PD officer signs off after 25 years with call to daughter

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Chattanooga police officer signed off Friday after 25 years of service in a special, heartfelt way.

Lieutenant Austin Garrett is moving on to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office as Chief Deputy, but he was able to share is goodbye with the police department with his daughter, Haley, who was working as the dispatcher on the other end of the call.
