Thousands of chicken nuggets are currently strewn across a Newport, Tennessee, intersection after the Cocke County Emergency Management Agency says a train and a tractor trailer were involved in an accident.
"Chicken nuggets for blocks!" Newport resident Linda Witson told WVLT News.
According to officials, a refrigerated trailer was carrying 39,000 pounds of Tyson chicken nuggets when it was involved in an accident with a rail car at the intersection of Main Street and Woodlawn Avenue.
The pictures shared by Cocke County EMA shows at least a hundred boxes strewn across the ground, likely each holding dozens of nuggets a piece.
There were no injuries reported, but the intersection was currently shut down overnight while the boxes of chicken nuggets were cleaned up. The intersection was reopened on Saturday.
