KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- We'll wake up on Monday with isolated spots of rain, mostly cloudy skies, some patches of fog and temperatures into the 60's once again. We'll get a brief taste of fall as we start the work week.
Monday afternoon brings more chances for rain, with a more widespread shot of rain late Monday into Tuesday morning. Overall in the afternoon on Monday look for temperatures near the mid 70's.
Monday the heaviest rain will stay north and west of Knoxville, with anywhere between a tenth to a quarter of an inch possible. Isolated locally higher amounts are possible.
Tuesday will be another day of clouds and off and on rain chances. The clouds on Tuesday will continue to hold our temperatures back as we stay in the low 80's once again.
By Wednesday the heat and humid air will be with us again. Back to the mid 80's we go after clearing out in the morning and making way for partly sunny skies in the afternoon.
Thursday looks beautiful with bright sunny skies, low humidity levels and temperatures in the mid 80's.
