400 recoveries, 98 active cases of COVID-19 in Knox County

400 Knox County residents have recovered from COVID-19, according to data released by the Knox County Health Department Tuesday.

Active cases increased to 98.

KCHD said it identified a cluster of 12 COVID-19 cases in Knox County. The cluster was connected to large households.

According to KCHD, the groups who were tested for COVID-19 have been contacted and are being quarantined.

The total number of positive COVID-19 test results is 477 and 377 have recovered in Knox County. 13% of all positive COVID-19 cases in Knox Co. have been asymptomatic.

Officials confirmed a Knox County assisted living facility has one resident diagnosed with COVID-19.
