Six homes on Bluff Mountain have burned to the ground and another two are damaged by fire.

Officials said Sunday night the fire was 100 percent contained as of 9:30 but crews were remaining on scene to watch for any hot spots.

153 acres burned and about 20 homes were still evacuated Sunday night.

Officials say the majority of these cabins are vacation homes. One of the homes that burned is located on Memory Way.

Bluff Mountain Road is currently closed as crews from several different fire departments work to contain the fire.

Shamrock Way, Deer Valley, Hummingbird Lane, Quail Run, Gliding Crane, Renatta Way, Wicks Way, BlackBear Lane, Bluff Mtn Way, Foxwell Way, Rissing Fawn and Memory Lane also remained closed.

Firefighters say the fire started as a structure fire just before 2:00 Sunday afternoon. No one was hurt.
