"I always tell people working up there to keep their doors locked," Steve Hogarth said.

He took video of a bear making its way into an unlocked truck on Monday.

His wife, Karen, posted it on Facebook.

"The guy had eaten his Sonic already," Steve said. The bear still made off with an empty bag of fast food.

Steve said bears are common near his work site outside Gatlinburg. One time, he watched a mama bear take off with his own lunch box.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) reminds everyone to protect and bear-proof your property, and that includes locking car doors and rolling up windows.

TWRA warns to never feed or approach bears.
