Do you steal from your office?

(WVLT) -- From manila folders, paperclips, to pens and everything in between, office theft's have been on the rise for the last 15 years.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiner's found employees taking things from their "office supplies stash" rose to 21 percent of corporate-theft losses in 2018. That's up from roughly 11 percent in 2002.

A similar survey back in 2013 found 52 percent of workers admittedly steal company property. One loss-prevention consultant says there are a few factor to blame for all of this: a decrease in supervision and the rise in employees working from home.
