ATLANTA (WVLT) -- Drivers on I-285 in Dunwoody, Georgia had an unexpected, but exciting, delay during their nightly commute Tuesday.

The door of an armored car that was traveling along the interstate came loose and opened, sending piles of money into the air.

According to the Dunwoody Police Department, several drivers called 911 to report the flying money, while others frantically started to grab at the cash. In a recent Facebook post Wednesday, Dunwoody Police asked the public to stop parking alongside the interstate to look for more money.

Though the money was all over the road, taking the cash is still a crime, and several people have returned the money they found to the police.
