FBI arrests suspect wanted in Powell bank robbery

Knoxville officials said the suspect wanted in connection to a robbery at Regions Bank was arrested.
FBI agents, Knoxville police and Knox County deputies said Timothy James Langford, 57, of Colorado, robbed Regions Bank on Emory Road around 9 a.m. on January 10.
Langford was arrested Tuesday in Escambia County, Florida, according to reports.
Langford reportedly walked into the bank and handed a note to the teller. Langford then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to reports.
KPD officers and KCSO deputies said they searched the area after the incident but did not find Langford.
According to the FBI, Langford may be responsible for similar robberies in Colorado, Florida and Middle Tennessee.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
