MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The exterior facade covering the front of a longtime Maryville blues club collapsed.
Officials with the City of Maryville said the front facing wall of the Brackins Blues Club in downtown Maryville collapsed late Saturday night, and the second level of the wall collapsed early Thursday morning.
WVLT spoke with Paul Davis Reconstruction crew members said they are waiting to hear from the structural engineer before crews can begin cleaning the mess.
It is unknown at the time if the building is structurally sound.
Broadway Avenue through downtown will be closed for the next day and possibly two depending on what city officials decide going forward.
This is a developing story. More details to come as they are made available.
