Filmmaker Ken Burns promotes country music doc in Sevierville

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Legendary filmmaker Ken Burns stopped in Sevierville Monday to promote his new documentary.

Well known for his documentary series on the Civil War, the national parks, and the Lewis and Clark expedition, Burns is now turning his attention to country music. His stop in Sevierville was to pay homage to Dolly Parton.

Burns was joined by Ketch Secor from Old Crow Medicine Show.
