House fire reported overnight in North Knoxville

Units from the Knoxville Fire Department responded to a call of smoke inside a home in North Knoxville at 3:45 a.m. Saturday morning.

KFD units were dispatched to 5620 Sierra Road early Saturday morning. When fire crews arrived, they found the family safely outside the home.

Firefighting crews searched for the source and found flames in the crawl space beneath the home.

No injuries are reported and the family will receive assistance from the American Red Cross.
