(WVLT) -- The government shutdown is now in its twentieth day, and some employees are feeling the effects of not being paid.
People from all over are stepping up to help, including a very famous former NFL quarterback, Ryan Leaf.
Leaf said his grandfather was a game warden in Montana and "we spent our vacations going 2 our national parks." Leaf said he and his family "would love to help with your mortgage if you will allow."
Man people replied to his tweet offering their thanks, admiration as well as asking how they could help, too.
