Gov. Beshear plans to restore 100,000 felons’ voting rights Thursday

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WAVE) — Governor Andy Beshear plans to make good on a campaign promise Thursday by signing an executive order to restore voting rights to 100,000 felons.

Beshear is expected to sign the order Thursday, December 12th at 3 p.m. at the Capitol.

Kentucky and Iowa are the only states that still deny the right to vote to anyone convicted of a felony.
