KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A hot air balloon was visible in the Knoxville area last week due to the launch of the Food City Culinary Tours.
Local 8 News caught up with Food City officials about the lift off. They said the program aims to bring the tastes of distant lands to East Tennesseeans.
Products with the culinary tours label are a part of one of the cultural stories Food City is trying to tell through the launch. Some of the featured dishes include Vindaloo Chicken, Sun-dried tomato and Tonno Orecchiette, Steak Chimichurri Quesadillas, and a Southwest Scramble.
