Humane Society to hold 23rd annual Bark in the Park

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley is holding Bark in the Park, their biggest celebration for dogs and their families, at the World's Fair Park Festival Lawn on Saturday, June 17. Gates will open at 3 p.m. with a $10 entry donation.

"The festival is our largest fundraising event of the year and is a great opportunity for HSTV and our sponsors to do something fun for the community and the pets we love," said HSTV's Katie Crossen.

The day will host everyone's favorite games and contests for people and pets to participate in. Face painting, carnival style games, crafts and the first ever "Barkin' Zoo Garden" petting zoo will be included in the festivities.

"Nerdvana" Comic Store will present a superhero and princess meet, and food and drink will be available.
