Italian night club stampede kills six

Six people have died and dozens are injured after a night club stampede in Italy early Saturday morning.

Concertgoers at a disco in a small, coastal town were waiting for Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta when a stampede erupted.

Italian fire officials and the ANSA said it started after someone sprayed a noxious substance in the air. One teen survivor told the ANSA at least one of the known emergency exits was locked.

Over 1000 people were inside.

The dead included three younger girls, two boys, and a mother who was at the show with her daughter.
