KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knoxville woman said she was out jogging on Wednesday evening when a man in a vehicle pulled up, asked for directions and then exposed himself.
Kristen Keech said she was exercising along Walker Springs Road near the Ten Mile Creek Greenway at around 5 p.m. when a man pulled up next to her and asked for directions to Kingston Pike.
Moments later, she said she realized the man had fully exposed himself.
"Once I realized what had happened, I turned and sprinted away," Keech told WVLT News.
She said that was the fastest she had ever ran to her vehicle. Keech said she filed a police report, but spoke to WVLT News because she wants other people to be aware of what happened.
"It's a violating feeling, and you want to erase it from your mind and forget about it, but that doesn't do anybody any good," Keech said.
"I want people to know these things happen. So, be very careful when you go up to someone's car and keep that distance," she continued.
WVLT News has reached out to the police for a full report of the incident.
