Knox County Sheriff's Office said Bobby A. Hansard has been taken into custody.
Officials said the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office took Hansard into custody Sunday morning around 10:00 after they received a tip on his location.
Officials said Hansard was transferred into the custody of KCSO Major Crimes Detectives and brought to Knox County.
Hansard will be taken to the Roger D. Wilson detention facility.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for Hansard on Friday. They believed he was connected to a shooting that happened on Halloween in South Knox County.
Officials responded to reports of a shooting at 2923 Smith Lane at around 12:30 p.m. One person died and one was injured. According to officials, one victim was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office found a missing vehicle wanted in connection with the shooting on Saturday.
KCSO said detectives took 21-year-old Joseph Dallas Bellew of Sevier County into custody Saturday.
A warrant charging Bellew with first degree murder was issued in Knox County Saturday afternoon. Bellew is charged in connection with the South Knoxville homicide on Halloween. Bond has been set at $1 million.
