KPD: Children safe after school bus engine fire

The Knoxville Police Department said all children are safe after a school bus from out of town was evacuated due to a fire.
Police said that a Hamilton School bus pulled over on I-40 West at James White Parkway after a small engine fire. Children got off the bus safely and currently are waiting on a replacement bus.
Officials ask drivers to use caution in the area.
